Rachel started out as a volunteer serving as a front desk reception and event staff at Lou Ruvo Cleveland Clinic & The Keep Memory Alive Event Center when it opened in 2010 and after four years of dedicated services he was presented with a distinguished volunteer award by The White House. As a professional caregiver, she started as a PCA in memory care (Prestige/Henderson), then as CNA worked in psych (Boulder City Hospital) & med-surg (St. Rose). With a degree from Nevada State College (now university), Rachel began as RN working at the new Psychiatric Pavilion at Southern Hills Hospital. Through COVID, she was also temporarily assigned to departments including ED, ICU & others. After earning her masters degree and board-certification as PMHNP, she began a position in home health as a geri-psych specialist and collaborator to mobile PCPs & integral provider dealing directly with patients, POAs & other caregivers. Rachel is currently working with senior patients at primary care clinics for Intermountain Health. She recently completed a year long fellowship course at The Integrated Psychiatry Institute & is currently a student in the DNP Executive program at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing (expected graduation May 2026).
